“Car of Firsts” is what the Oldsmobile cars are best known as. Being the first in various major car innovations in car history the Oldsmobile was founded by Ransom E. Old in 1897and hence came the name Oldsmobile into existence. Since these cars were a creation of the general mayors hence this was the only brand name. Being one of its kinds, during the first few years of its release, it became one of the top-selling cars in the United States. To be more specifies in terms of quality, this car was the General Motor’s version of luxury and sophistication which was the very features that made it hot and so talked about in the market. The first Oldsmobile car, Curved Dash, was special in its own ways and it was also the first mass-produced car in 1901. Not only this, it was also the first American car to be exported in 1901.

Oldsmobile parts were one of their kinds and so this car reached the heights of success in the following years with its long line of innovations including the first speedometer, the first rocket engine, the first automatic transmission and the first GPS-based navigation, to name a few, along the way, being one of the cars that introduced the name of outstanding cars into history
